A promise beyond the object

Some things are created to be owned.
Others are created to endure.

Toki Orbs are individually identified collectible artifacts, created through the union of metal, craftsmanship, imagination, and history.

Each Orb belongs to a larger universe of Origins, Generations, and discoveries. Every artifact carries its own identity, while contributing to a story that extends beyond any single collector.

But discovery without trust is simply uncertainty.

The Covenant establishes the founding principles governing the creation, identity, scarcity, authenticity, and preservation of Toki Orbs.

It defines what collectors can expect, what the Archive must preserve, and which commitments cannot be compromised as the universe evolves.

The future is unwritten. The past is not negotiable.

Foundational commitments

The Ten Laws

Ten enduring principles. One standard of integrity.

I

THE LAW OF IDENTITY

Every Orb is one of a kind in its history.

Every authentic, accepted Toki Orb must possess a unique and permanent Archive identity.

This identity connects the physical artifact to its Origin, Generation, authorized manifestation, edition, material specifications, and documented history.

No two authentic Toki Orbs may share the same unique Archive ID.

An artifact’s identity remains associated with that artifact regardless of changes in ownership, location, or possession of accompanying documentation.

Physical identifiers, certificates, and digital records work together to preserve this connection.

The method of accessing an Archive record may evolve, but the artifact’s underlying identity must remain permanent.

An Orb may change hands. Its identity never changes.

II

THE LAW OF SCARCITY

What is promised cannot be multiplied.

Every limited Toki manifestation is governed by a defined maximum authorized population.

Once publicly established, that maximum cannot be increased.

An edition of 69 cannot become an edition of 70.

An edition of 25 cannot become an edition of 26.

A one-of-one cannot be reproduced as another authentic example of the same unique manifestation.

Authorized populations may be released across multiple drops, provided the total number of accepted artifacts never exceeds the published limit.

Unreleased authorized inventory does not constitute additional supply.

When a manifestation is formally closed, no additional artifacts may enter that manifestation.

New designs, materials, Generations, or manifestations must be identified distinctly and may not be presented as previously released editions.

Scarcity is a commitment, not a marketing strategy.

III

THE LAW OF ORIGINS

Every creation belongs to a greater universe.

The Toki universe is organized through Origins, Generations, and manifestations.

An Origin represents an artifact’s fundamental identity and design family.

A Generation establishes its place within the evolving chronology of Toki Orbs.

A Manifestation defines a particular authorized expression, including its edition limit and distinguishing characteristics.

The three founding Origins are:

SOLAR PRIME

NEBULA PRIME

LUNAR PRIME

Each possesses its own identity, symbolism, and place within the universe.

Additional Origins may be revealed. Future Generations may introduce new designs, metals, and stories.

However, new discoveries cannot retroactively change the identity, edition limit, or documented history of existing artifacts.

The universe may expand. Its history may not be rewritten.

IV

THE LAW OF METAL

The material must be as authentic as the story.

Metal is fundamental to the identity of Toki Orbs.

Every accepted artifact must accurately represent its material composition.

Where applicable, the Archive may document:

  • Metal type and fineness
  • Finished gross weight
  • Source material and batch identification
  • Reclaimed or historical metal provenance
  • Manufacturing and casting history
  • Testing, verification, and supporting documentation

Some artifacts may contain reclaimed metals with histories predating their creation.

Where those histories can be documented, they become part of the artifact’s permanent record.

Where information is uncertain, incomplete, or unavailable, it must be identified accordingly.

Material claims must not exceed the evidence supporting them.

Different metals and alloys may be introduced in future manifestations, but their identities must be accurately disclosed.

The metal is real. Its history deserves to be preserved.

V

THE LAW OF THE ARCHIVE

History is recorded, never silently rewritten.

The Archive is the authoritative historical record of Toki Orbs.

It preserves the identity, specifications, creation, and documented journey of each accepted artifact.

An individual Archive record may include:

  • Unique Archive ID
  • Origin and Generation
  • Manifestation and edition number
  • Metal composition and finished weight
  • Manufacturing and provenance documentation
  • Authentication and certification information
  • Release and registration history
  • Documented ownership transfers
  • Verified restoration, loss, recovery, or other significant events

The Archive is designed to grow as an artifact’s history unfolds.

New information may be added.

Errors may be corrected.

Records may be clarified when better evidence becomes available.

But corrections must preserve an appropriate history of material changes rather than silently replacing established facts.

The Archive must distinguish verified information from estimates, unverified claims, and fictional elements of Toki mythology.

The Archive records history. It does not manufacture it.

VI

THE LAW OF AUTHENTICITY

Evidence precedes authority.

Authenticity is established through the relationship between the physical artifact, its permanent identity, and supporting records.

A QR code, certificate, photograph, or registration alone does not prove that an object is authentic.

Toki Orbs may use several complementary forms of documentation.

The Artifact

The physical Orb and its permanent identifying characteristics.

The Certificate of Authenticity

A record identifying the artifact and documenting its acceptance as an authentic Toki creation.

The Metal Passport

A record of documented metal composition, specifications, and provenance.

The Archive

The authoritative record connecting the artifact to its identity and documented history.

Digital access methods, including QR codes, NFC technology, or future identification systems, may be used to connect collectors with Archive records.

Their physical placement and technical implementation are design decisions, not permanent requirements of The Covenant.

Authentication methods may improve as technology develops, provided those changes preserve the integrity of existing artifact identities.

Authenticity belongs to the artifact, not the technology used to access its record.

VII

THE LAW OF THE DISCOVERER

Ownership changes. History continues.

A collector within the Toki universe is known as a Discoverer.

Every Discoverer becomes part of an artifact’s continuing journey.

Where registration services are available, a Discoverer may associate an artifact with an ownership record.

Registration does not create authenticity, nor is registration required for an otherwise authentic artifact to remain genuine.

When ownership changes, a verified transfer may be recorded as another chapter in the artifact’s history.

Previous historical events remain part of the record.

Personal information is protected, and public ownership disclosure requires appropriate authorization.

A collector may possess an Orb for a lifetime.

Its story is intended to endure beyond that lifetime.

A Discoverer is a chapter in the story, not its beginning or its end.

VIII

THE LAW OF GENESIS

The beginning can never happen twice.

Genesis is the inaugural release of Toki Orbs.

The Genesis Drop consists of 18 individually identified artifacts drawn from the three founding Origins.

The founding manifestations have the following maximum authorized populations:

SOLAR PRIME — 69

NEBULA PRIME — 49

LUNAR PRIME — 25

These limits govern the total authorized populations of their respective founding manifestations.

The 18 Genesis Drop artifacts are included within those limits. They do not represent additional supply.

Each Genesis artifact receives a unique Archive identity and documentation of its individual characteristics and history.

Genesis identifies the inaugural release, not a designation that may be retroactively assigned to later drops.

Future releases may continue the founding manifestations within their established limits, or introduce distinctly identified new manifestations.

They may not increase the scarcity ceilings of the founding manifestations.

Genesis will always represent the beginning of the Toki Orbs universe.

There can be many discoveries. There can only be one beginning.

IX

THE LAW OF CREATION

Not everything created becomes an artifact of record.

The creation of a Toki Orb may involve design studies, prototypes, experimental castings, test materials, rejected pieces, and manufacturing refinements.

These developmental objects do not automatically become accepted, serialized artifacts.

An Orb must satisfy the applicable acceptance and identification standards before entering an authorized commercial population.

Rejected castings and unfinished prototypes may be documented as part of the development history.

They must not be represented as accepted numbered editions.

Commercial edition numbers are assigned to accepted artifacts according to the applicable release procedures.

Manufacturing methods and quality standards may evolve as craftsmanship and technology improve.

Such improvements must not compromise established edition limits, identities, or material disclosures.

Creation is a process. Acceptance is a distinction.

X

THE LAW OF CONTINUITY

The Covenant must endure without preventing evolution.

Toki Orbs is an expanding universe.

New Origins may emerge.

New Generations may begin.

New materials, technologies, forms of craftsmanship, and methods of authentication may be introduced.

The Covenant exists to guide that evolution, not prevent it.

Its founding commitments are permanent:

  • Published edition ceilings cannot be increased.
  • Existing artifact identities cannot be reassigned or duplicated.
  • Documented history cannot be silently erased or falsified.
  • Material and authenticity claims must remain truthful.
  • Future releases cannot retroactively become part of closed inaugural releases.

The language, procedures, and supporting policies of The Covenant may be clarified, expanded, or updated.

Such changes must be transparent, dated, and recorded through a published version history.

A revision may improve the way Toki fulfills its commitments.

It may not eliminate those commitments or retroactively diminish promises already made to collectors.

The Covenant is a living document built upon enduring principles.

Our enduring commitments

The Four Promises

01

SCARCITY IS REAL.

Every limited manifestation has a defined maximum population. That population cannot be increased after its limit has been established.

02

EVENTS ARE REAL.

The physical history of every artifact is distinguished from the fictional mythology of the Toki universe. Releases, creation, documented provenance, and verified events carry lasting meaning.

03

METAL IS REAL.

Materials are accurately identified, documented, and represented. Claims about composition and provenance must be supported by evidence.

04

HISTORY IS PERMANENT.

The Archive preserves the documented identity and history of every accepted artifact. New chapters may be added. Established history cannot be silently rewritten.

An unfinished universe

The Archive is incomplete.

Not because its history is uncertain by design.
But because its future has yet to unfold.

Some Origins remain undiscovered.
Some artifacts have yet to be created.
Some stories have not yet begun.

The Covenant protects what has already happened while allowing everything that comes next.

Every new artifact adds to the universe.
Every Discoverer becomes part of its history.
Every Generation inherits the promises made before it.

THE FUTURE IS UNWRITTEN.
THE PAST IS NOT NEGOTIABLE.

DISCOVER. COLLECT. PRESERVE.

Stewardship & transparency

Governance & Revision History

The Covenant is the public governing statement of Toki Orbs.

Its founding commitments are intended to endure. Its supporting language, procedures, and interpretations may evolve to reflect improved documentation, technology, craftsmanship, or operational practices.

Every material revision will receive a version number, effective date, and summary of changes.

Earlier published versions will remain accessible for historical reference.

No revision may retroactively increase established edition limits, invalidate authentic artifact identities, or erase documented history.
